ConceptionXR Motility Support provides the same two tablets as Reproductive Health, plus two capsules with L-carnitine and additional vitamin D₃ to support healthy sperm motility.*

Do not take both ConceptionXR products. Take ONE ConceptionXR product or the other. Taking both products together would provide a higher dose of nutrients than recommended.

ConceptionXR Motility Support is recommended for men trying to conceive that need extra nutrient support for sperm motility.* Sperm motility is particularly important for men planning to conceive naturally or through intrauterine insemination (IUI).

Men with healthy sperm motility may consider ConceptionXR Reproductive Health.

We recommend taking ConceptionXR Motility Support for at least three months before trying to conceive. This is because sperm development, also known as spermatogenesis, is a complex process, and it can take up to three months for sperm to fully mature and be ready to function at their best. Most men continue ConceptionXR Motility Support until pregnancy is achieved.

Yes. You can take the tablets and capsules at the same time.

No. There are no expected side effects from ConceptionXR Motility Support.

Yes. If you are currently taking a low-dose multivitamin and mineral supplement, you can continue to take it in addition to ConceptionXR Motility Support. However, taking additional high amounts of nutrients that are in ConceptionXR Motility Support  is generally not recommended.

The list below includes some of the more common potential interactions. This is not meant to be a comprehensive list or take the place of advice from your healthcare provider. As with any dietary supplement, discuss with your pharmacist and/or healthcare team to determine whether ConceptionXR Motility Support can be taken with your medications.

Antibiotics: Taking zinc (in ConceptionXR Motility Support tablets) with antibiotics can decrease their absorption and effectiveness. Depending on which antibiotic is prescribed, you may need to separate ConceptionXR Motility Support tablets from the antibiotic, as indicated below.

Cephalexin (Keflex): Take at least 3 hours before ConceptionXR Motility Support.

Tetracycline antibiotics (doxycycline, minocycline, demeclocycline): Separate by 4 hours.

Quinolone antibiotics (ciprofloxacin (Cipro), gemifloxacin (Factive), levofloxacin (Levaquin), Moxifloxacin (Avelox)): Separate by 6 hours.

Thyroid hormone (levothyroxine, Synthroid): L-carnitine (in ConceptionXR Motility Support capsules) might decrease the effectiveness of these medications. Speak to your healthcare provider about whether you can safely take ConceptionXR Motility Support along with thyroid hormone.
