How is TheraCran One different from other cranberry supplements?
Research shows that a daily dose of 500 mg of cranberry powder with at least 36 mg of soluble proanthocyanidins (PACs) is beneficial for urinary tract health and may reduce the risk of recurrent UTIs.**

That’s exactly what TheraCran One provides.

TheraCran One contains 500 mg of cranberry powder extracted from whole cranberries. It’s standardized to contain 36 mg of soluble PACs per capsule, and it’s the only cranberry supplement that has been independently tested and certified in the U.S. by NSF® International for content accuracy, purity, and PAC content. Most cranberry products are not standardized or tested for PACs, and do not list proanthocyanidin content on their label.

With TheraCran One, you know exactly what you’re getting.

      What are proanthocyanidins?
Proanthocyanidins (PACs) are naturally occurring compounds in cranberries and some other fruits. Researchers have found that the particular type of PACs present in cranberries is beneficial for urinary tract health.*
Are there any side effects from taking TheraCran One?
There are no expected side effects from TheraCran One. However, anyone with a known allergy to cranberries should not take TheraCran One.
How is TheraCran One different from drinking cranberry juice?
    • TheraCran One is just one capsule per day. To reap the same benefits as just one capsule of TheraCran One, you’d have to drink 8-10 ounces of cranberry juice cocktail every single day.

    • TheraCran One is virtually calorie- and sugar-free. In comparison, eight ounces of cranberry juice cocktail contains about 110 calories and 25 grams of sugar.

    • TheraCran One is more shelf stable. Many experts in the cranberry field suggest that the soluble PAC content of cranberry juice decreases the longer it sits on the shelf. But, TheraCran One contains a stable cranberry extract and effectively maintains its PAC content up to the expiration date shown on the bottle.
    • Can I take TheraCran One if I have diabetes?
Yes. TheraCran One is virtually sugar-free and will not affect blood sugar levels.
Can I take TheraCran One if I get kidney stones?
Yes, you can safely take TheraCran One if you are prone to kidney stones. TheraCran One contains virtually no oxalate (<0.4 mg/capsule), so you can still take it even if you have been recommended to follow a low oxalate diet.
Can I open the TheraCran One capsules if I have trouble swallowing them?
Yes, you can open TheraCran One capsules and mix the contents into applesauce, pudding, yogurt, or another preferred food.
What are the white specks in TheraCran One?
TheraCran One contains a small amount of calcium, which is blended with cranberry to help in the manufacturing of the capsules. The calcium appears as small, white specks within the cranberry powder.
Can I take TheraCran One if I am pregnant?
Yes. TheraCran One can be taken during pregnancy. Studies have shown that cranberry supports urinary tract health in pregnant women.*
      Can children take TheraCran One?
Yes. The recommended dose is half (1/2) a capsule per day for children under 70 pounds, and one capsule per day for children 70 pounds and over. You can open the capsule and mix the contents with other food such as applesauce, pudding, or yogurt.

Does TheraCran One interact with prescription medications?
TheraCran One can be taken safely with most prescription medications, including blood thinners such as warfarin (Coumadin). It contains virtually no vitamin K (<0.5 mcg per capsule), so it does not interact with blood thinners. However, as with any dietary supplement, discuss with your pharmacist and/or healthcare team to determine whether TheraCran One can be taken along with your medications.
