What is the difference between Essentia, Solo, and Companion?
Theralogix offers three different multivitamins to meet your nutrient needs at different life stages.

Essentia is a comprehensive multivitamin designed for women that provides methylated folate, vitamin C, B vitamins, 50 mg of choline, 50 mcg (2,000 IU) of vitamin D3, and 18 mg of iron, along with chelated minerals and other essential nutrients. Essentia is recommend for younger women or any adult who needs iron in their daily multivitamin.

Solo is a well-balanced multivitamin that provides methylated folate, vitamin C, B vitamins, 50 mg of choline, and 50 mcg (2,000 IU) of vitamin D3, along with chelated minerals and other essential nutrients. Solo does not contain iron, so it’s recommended for men, women 51+, or any adult who does not need iron in their daily multivitamin.

Companion does not contain iron, vitamin D, or vitamin K. It is recommended for adults already taking a supplement with adequate vitamin D, as well as those advised to limit vitamin K intake or who do not need supplemental iron.

How is Solo different from other multivitamins?
    • Independently tested and certified. Solo is tested and certified by NSF® International for content accuracy and purity, so you know exactly what you’re getting.

    • No iron. Solo is formulated without iron, so it’s ideal for men, women 51+, or anyone who doesn’t need iron in their daily multivitamin.

    • Quality you can trust. Solo is manufactured in the USA in a cGMP compliant facility.
    • Can I take other nutritional supplements with Solo?
Yes. It is safe to take Solo with most other supplements, including TherOmega, NeoQ10, CalMag Thins, Theratonin, TheraCran One, OptiFlex Complete, and Canabrex. Do not take another multivitamin while taking Solo.
Does Solo interact with any prescription medications?
The list below includes some of the more common potential interactions. This is not meant to be a comprehensive list or take the place of advice from your healthcare provider. As with any dietary supplement, discuss with your pharmacist and/or healthcare team to determine whether Solo can be taken along with your medications.

Antibiotics: Taking calcium, magnesium and/or zinc (in Solo) along with antibiotics can decrease their absorption and effectiveness. Depending on which antibiotic is prescribed, you may need to separate Solo from the antibiotic, as indicated below.

    • Cephalexin (Keflex): Take at least 3 hours before Solo.
    • Tetracycline antibiotics (doxycycline, minocycline, demeclocycline): Separate by 4 hours.
    • Quinolone antibiotics (Ciprofloxacin (Cipro), gemifloxacin (Factive), levofloxacin (Levaquin), Moxifloxacin (Avelox)): Separate by 6 hours.

Oral bisphosphonates (i.e., alendronate (Fosamax), etidronate (Didronel), risedronate (Actonel), ibandronate (Boniva), tiludronate (Skelid)): Magnesium and calcium (in Solo) can decrease the absorption of these medications. Separate by 2 hours.

Thyroid hormone (levothyroxine, Synthroid): Minerals in Solo can reduce absorption of these medications. Separate Solo and thyroid hormone by at least 4 hours.

Medications for overactive thyroid (methimazole, propylthiouracil): Taking iodine (in Solo) along with these medications might change their effects. Consult with your healthcare provider if you’re taking medication for an overactive thyroid along with Solo.
