Cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune): Berberine can increase the levels of cyclosporine in the body. Talk with your healthcare provider to determine if you should take Berberine Enhanced Absorption along with cyclosporine.

Dextromethorphan (over-the-counter cold/flu medications): Berberine may increase the levels and side effects of dextromethorphan in the body.

Losartan (Cozaar): Berberine may reduce the therapeutic effects of losartan.

Medications for diabetes: Berberine (in Berberine Enhanced Absorption) and inositol (in Ovasitol) may have additional blood sugar-lowering effects when taken with medications to manage blood sugar and diabetes. Talk with your healthcare provider and monitor your blood sugar closely if you’re taking berberine and Ovasitol along with a medication for diabetes.

Thyroid hormone: Separate thyroid hormone from Ovasitol and Berberine Enhanced Absorption by at least one hour.
