Those with liver problems.

Those with a history of hormone-related cancer, such as breast or prostate cancer.

Individuals with diabetes, unless otherwise directed by your healthcare provider.

Those with hyperlipidemia.

Men trying to father a pregnancy.

Yes. DHEA 25 can be taken with most other nutritional supplements. However, if you’re considering DHEA with inositol, check with your healthcare provider. DHEA may raise testosterone levels and inositol may lower testosterone levels, counteracting the potential benefit of either supplement.

Anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs (heparin, warfarin (Coumadin), apixaban (Eliquis), enoxaparin (Lovenox), clopidogrel (Plavix), aspirin): DHEA may increase the risk of bleeding when taken with these medications.

Aromatase inhibitors (anastrozole, exemestane, letrozole): DHEA may counteract the effects of these medications.

Fulvestrant (Faslodex): DHEA may interfere with the anti-estrogen effects of this medication.

Tamoxifen (Novaldex): DHEA may interfere with the anti-estrogen effects of this medication.
