There is not enough research to establish the safety of L-theanine during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. Therefore, we do not recommend Magnesium L-Theanine Complex during pregnancy or lactation.

Antibiotics: Taking magnesium along with antibiotics can decrease the absorption and effectiveness of the antibiotic. Depending on which antibiotic is prescribed, you may need to separate Magnesium L-Theanine Complex from the antibiotic, as indicated below.
Tetracycline antibiotics (doxycycline, minocycline, demeclocycline): Separate by 4 hours.
Quinolone (Ciprofloxacin (Cipro), gemifloxacin (Factive), levofloxacin (Levaquin), Moxifloxacin (Avelox)): Separate by 6 hours.
Oral Bisphosphonates (i.e., alendronate (Fosamax), etidronate (Didronel), risedronate (Actonel), ibandronate (Boniva), tiludronate (Skelid)): Magnesium can decrease the absorption of these medications. Separate by 2 hours.
