How is Ovasitol Plus different from other inositol supplements?
Ovasitol Plus contains myo-inositol and d-chiro-inositol in the body’s naturally occurring ratio of 40 to 1. Studies have shown that taking a combination of these two forms, in this ratio, is more beneficial than other inositol ratios or taking either myo-inositol or d-chiro inositol alone.* It also includes alpha-lactalbumin, chromium picolinate, and vitamin D for enhanced absorption and metabolic support.*

How long should I take Ovasitol Plus?
Ovasitol Plus is designed for continuous, long-term use. It generally takes at least three months of regular, daily use to notice menstrual and metabolic benefits and at least 6 months of regular, daily use to notice skin and hair benefits.*
Can I continue to take Ovasitol Plus during pregnancy?
Ovasitol Plus contains 200 mcg of chromium picolinate per daily dose (two packets). Although chromium is safe to take while trying to conceive, enough studies haven’t been done to establish its safety during pregnancy. So, once you’re pregnant, it’s best to stop Ovasitol Plus and switch to original Ovasitol, which contains only myo-inositol and d-chiro inositol, and will help support healthy insulin and sugar levels during pregnancy.*
Are there any side effects from Ovasitol Plus?
No. There are no expected side effects from Ovasitol Plus. However, some individuals may experience mild stomach upset when taking a new supplement. We recommend drinking Ovasitol Plus slowly with a meal for best tolerance.
Can I take Ovasitol Plus with other nutritional supplements?
Yes. You can take Ovasitol Plus with most other dietary supplements. However, if you’re considering Ovasitol Plus and DHEA together, please check with your healthcare provider. DHEA may raise testosterone levels and counteract the potential benefits of an inositol supplement in certain individuals.
Can I take Ovasitol Plus with prescription medications?
Ovasitol Plus can be safely taken along with most prescription medications, including birth control. As with any dietary supplement, discuss with your pharmacist and/or healthcare team to determine whether Ovasitol Plus can be taken along with your medications.

If you are considering Ovasitol Plus and have a prescription to manage your blood sugar, please check with your healthcare provider.

If you take thyroid medication, separate from Ovasitol Plus by at least one hour.
